This is the story of two men. Fred Beckmann and Barney Gerety, who together operated and managed C.W. Wortham's 2nd Unit, World's Best Shows for many years. Following Wortham's death, they teamed up as partners and purchased that well known railroad carnival. Ten years later they changed the show's title using their own names.
